Welcome to Ballet Music!
Hello, and welcome to my website, dedicated entirely to music for ballet class. Ballet and the music that goes with it is very much in my blood, which I’ll get into in more depth on my blog as we move forward with this site.
But in short, I’ve played piano for ballet class since I was 19, and I still do, 20 years later (wow…time really does fly). A few years ago I started recording my music and publishing it for streaming, and to my surprise, I’ve managed to build up a small audience (my wife was right…again…).
But the distance between myself and this audience is quite vast on the streaming services, so I built this website to get us all closer together, to be able to get feedback, ideas, to find people to collaborate with, and to be able to offer things that I can’t do in those places.
So go ahead, just drop me a line! Let me know what you think about the triple speed editions, send me your wishlist for future albums, ideas for this website, dream collaborations with your favourite dancers, or with yourself perhaps, your wildest ideas for crazy ballet class music themes (Sex Pistols for ballet class, anyone?), or even just some encouraging words. I will reply to all emails you send my way, and I hope we can build a little community here :).

Where can I listen for free?
You can stream all my music for free on (I think) all online streaming services. The big ones include Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, Amazon, Apple Music and Youtube Music. I also have a YouTube channel, where you’ll find lots of additional content to check out, so I recommend that option extra warmly!

Classical Music
Other than ballet music, I also write classical music in general. For example, the music for two Swedish children’s books Sommarbarn and Vinterbarn, to invite young children into the world of classical music in an accessible way. There’s also an album I wrote for my wife, whom – incidentally – you can see joining me in a video of Vinterbarn being played on four-handed piano right below here.
